I've been forcing myself to use Houdini instead of Fume.  So here's my go at some pyro fire.I gotta say Houdini is a beast.  It is the stuff of dreams and nightmares combined.   It is basically limitless to how far one can go to achieve a desired look and feel.  If you have ever wanted absolute control or wanted to break things down to each and every component(and components inside of those components)  Houdini is your app. I feel like I'm just scratching the surface after weeks making fire and smoke.

Little magic/ice cold effect I did for a Blacklight Ice Storm weapon.  This effect poured from the axe blade but only spawned when not moving using a inverse spawn per unit.

UE4 Glass Fracture

Painted up a fracture map and used that to create the fracture actor in PhysX lab then imported into UE4. The amount of destructable mesh options in UE4 vs. UE3 is pretty limiting(Voronoi only).  PhysX lab is the way to go if you need specific breaks or destruciton based on materials/sufaces.
